Decision Ledger
The Decision Ledger is the public record of what V8 evaluated and what it decided, including every event it passed on.
In plain English
It exists so the published record cannot be trimmed after the fact. Entries carry timestamps, a decision state and a reason from a public vocabulary, and are not removed when they are unflattering.

A machine-readable feed listing evaluated events with their decision states and reasons.
Why it matters
A record of only the bets that were made cannot be audited. A record of the decisions can.
How V8 uses this term
Pregame ledger entries are selection-free: they state that an event was evaluated and what was decided, without revealing a directional pick before it is published.
