Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and authentication records needed to operate passwordless sign-in.
• Preferences: teams you follow, email-brief preference, and related account settings.
• Product activity: first-party server-side events such as feature views, team follows, and account actions used to operate, secure, and improve the service.
• Technical information: limited request, device, security, and log data produced when you use the service.
• Billing information: when paid plans launch, payment processing will be handled by Stripe. V8 Predicts does not need to store your full payment-card number.

How we use information

We use personal information to authenticate users, provide followed-team features and requested emails, enforce entitlements, prevent abuse, maintain security, support customers, analyze product performance, and comply with legal obligations.

Cookies and analytics

V8 Predicts currently uses the authentication/session storage necessary to keep you signed in and first-party product telemetry operated by V8 Predicts. We do not currently use third-party advertising pixels or sell personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Service providers

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate V8 Predicts, including hosting, database/authentication, email delivery, payment processing, security, and infrastructure providers. They receive information only as needed to perform those services for us.

Retention

We retain account and operational information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, protect its integrity and security, maintain required business records, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations. Cryptographic prediction and verification records may be retained for longer because preserving the historical record is a core feature of the service.

Your choices

You may turn the Daily V8 Brief off from My Teams. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of personal account information by emailing [email protected]. Some records may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or the integrity of public verification records.

Age

V8 Predicts is intended for adults age 21 and older. We do not knowingly provide accounts to people under 21.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system can guarantee absolute security, so please contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the updated policy here and change the effective date when material revisions are made.
